We are an independent agriculture consulting agency and extension service based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. We are a formally recognized soil food web lab by Dr. Elaine Ingham of the Soil Food Web Inc. and have supported land stewards throughout Canada for over seven years.

Our organization assists land stewards of all sizes in restoring the natural balance between plants and soil microorganisms. Prioritizing the health and resilience of plants and promoting a thriving soil community are the first significant steps toward creating a healthier ecosystem.

Soil microorganisms are vital in many ecosystem processes and are indispensable to plant productivity. Disrupting the complex and harmonious relationship between plants and the living soil community leads to nutrient deficiencies, increased susceptibility to pests and diseases, and reduced overall plant health.

We conduct comprehensive assessments of land conditions and provide tailored recommendations for soil regeneration and sustainable land management.

We provide resources and guidance that empower land stewards to implement practices enhancing their soil microbiota. These practices include cover cropping, composting, properly-timed (if not reduced) tillage, and organic amendments. Such approaches can improve soil fertility, increase water retention, reduce erosion, and contribute to more resilient and robust agricultural and gardening systems.

With our clients and collaborators, we recreate and regenerate food systems that benefit current and future generations.
