Do you ever wonder who's actually living in your soil or who might be missing?
Please note: the course description on the registration page below does not accurately reflect the content of this one-day workshop.
In this one-day, hands-on workshop, we will use microscopes to explore the living community beneath your feet.
Bring a sample of your soil and compost, and your own microscope if you have one, and learn how to spot key groups of soil organisms and what they may be telling you about soil function and plant health.
You’ll also get to know these organisms and the ecological roles they play, especially the microscopic predators that help cycle nutrients.
Dates Available (choose one or more!):
April 11th
April 25th
May 9th
Time: 9 AM - 3 PM
